To arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the session to assist with setting up and to remain until the session has been cleared up satisfactorily.
To welcome clients as they arrive and assist with general opening tasks such as giving out information leaflets or offering clients refreshments.
To make refreshments as required by lead volunteer or supervisor.
To assist with administration tasks as required by the lead volunteer or supervisor.
To assist in evaluations as required by the lead volunteer or supervisor.
Offer listening support to clients
To prepare and pack food parcels as directed by lead volunteer or supervisor.
To engage with new volunteers and provide assistance in training to support the lead volunteer or supervisor as and when required.
To keep the area clean, tidy and safe for use.
To understand and adhere to Triple C, the Trussell Trust and St Andrew’s Community Network policies, procedures and standards at all times.
Ensure Foodbank Centre safety rules are adhered to at all times.
To undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined from time to time by the lead volunteer or supervisor.
To raise any concerns over safety, safeguarding or other concerns with the lead volunteer or supervisor.
